In 2010 we join forces with Sydney’s 505 in the establishment of a new dedicated live music venue in the heart of Surry Hills. This exciting new venue will be a base for a number of small music organisations and we are thrilled to be amongst it all + there will be a piano!
So from the 19th January you can find
us at 505 – corner Perry and Cleveland Streets Surry Hills. Spread the word!
We send out a big heart felt thanks
to Mark and The Excelsior Hotel for all their support over the past years and
their dedication to live music in Sydney.
Our weekly series happens at Venue 505 cnr Cleveland and Perry Streets, Surry Hills.

The Alcohotlicks's twin-guitar attack marauded from country rock to crunching rock via surf music and R&B, with hair-raising flair
Their brilliantly grotesque amalgam of grunge rock and jazz confounds the purists, being too grungy for the jazzers and too weird for the rockers. Yet they have the advantage of being able to get gigs in both camps.
Their weirdness as a rock act is compounded by the fact that they have neither a singer nor a bass player: just two guitars and Evan Mannell's pounding drums. Nor do Hauptmann and Flower strike any of the poses that go with rock-guitar territory.
