The Drip Hards (aka The Drips) continue to evolve their dripping ways. Exploring the boundaries of time, tuning and taste The Drips Hards will present their new set of music recently debuted at the Sydney Opera House. Will fortune favor the wrong? Will bad mean good? Drop in for some Dripping and hear for yourself!

Once a trans-continental project, The Keijzer McGuiness Quintet is now a local affair as émigré Remco Keijzer zeroes in on Sydney for a few months. Their 2008 CD The Seed Habit has been called "an outstanding debut from a band destined for great things," by Charles Lidgard, and John Clare has said, "This is quite a special band (definitely to be heard live if you get the chance) and this is an unusual and impressive disc."

In this trio Indian influences collide with Aussie jazz in a joyous, inventive and expressive celebration of improvised music. 2010 has been a great year for the band with the release of a new EP, “The Edge of Pleasure” and a national tour assisted by Sound Travellers.

Winning first place at the National Jazz Award in 2006, he went on to record his debut CD Land Tides and accompanying tours received widespread critical acclaim here and in Europe and the USA, confirming his status as one of the most exciting young pianists to emerge in recent years. More recently, Jackson has recorded an album of solo piano work and performed in Asia.

The Sousas have been on the road for the last three years playing for little kids, so they have a back log of adult material and sentiments that they can’t wait to express. The deep rapport and superb musicianship that the Sousas have come to exemplify results in excellent ensemble playing, red hot soloing and a unique sensibility.

From the early 20th century to the not so distant past, the Pre-Loved will take you on a musical journey guaranteed to entertain and breathe new life into songs from days gone by. Take a trip down memory lane as The Pre-Loved revive the lost art of harmony singing in a feel-good acoustic instrumental setting.

Big Sea is Arrow’s debut album. Led by drummer and chief composer, Paul Derricott, Arrow’s performances are open and the compositions are only a rough guide for the band members to navigate using their marked creativity and cohesion. Paul’s interest in popular music is evident in the album, which comprises simple yet strong melodic content, coupled with shifting rhythmic information. The album engages but never grows tired.
The album Big Sea is a heartfelt offering, drawing on a broad palate of influences and seamlessly joining them in an engaging and cohesive manner. Big Sea offers lush ballads, subtle grooves, exploratory soundscapes and driving rhythms; a great vantage point from which to listen to music unfold from these interesting and talented musicians.
